47th Annual Fort Wayne Home & Garden Show Returns to Memorial Coliseum
With more than 650 exhibitors, the Fort Wayne Home & Garden Show is the place to see the latest in contemporary home and garden products and services.
FORT WAYNE, IND. (January 6, 2020) – Fort Wayne Shows Inc., northeast Indiana’s largest home and garden event producer, today announces the return of the annual Fort Wayne Home and Garden Show (FWHGS). Back for its 47th consecutive year at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum from February 27 – March 1, the FWHGS features more than 650 exhibitors each year. A portion of all ticket proceeds and revenue will be donated to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Fort Wayne to contribute the means necessary to build a show sponsored home for a member of the Fort Wayne community.
The Fort Wayne Home & Garden Show is the place to see the latest in contemporary home and garden products and services. From seminars by knowledgeable home and garden experts, to beautifully constructed and unique landscapes by exhibitors, attendees can expect to find all the inspiration and help needed for all types of home improvement projects. Exhibitors feature products and services for kitchen, bath, landscaping, interior decor, bedding, windows, siding, roofing, gutters, patios, driveways and more. Attendees are invited to explore the Garden Gallery full of unique garden accessories, gifts, plants, fairy gardens, patio and landscape displays and hundreds of spring flowers.
Feature entertainment includes Dr. Lori’s Free Antique Appraisal Comedy Show. Dr. Lori is a star antique appraiser on the History channel’s The Curse of Oak Island, Discovery channel’s Auction Kings and is an award-winning TV personality and TV talk show host with a Ph.D. in art history. With new antiques to appraise combined with Dr. Lori’s vast knowledge and quick wit, every show is full of interesting facts and humor. Showgoers may bring one antique item per show, per person, for a free appraisal. Shows will take place two times a day each day the show is open. Guests seeking a free appraisal should arrive at the stage 30 minutes prior to the start of each show. Showtimes are Thu-Sat at 3p & 6p and Sunday at 12p & 3p.
Other feature highlights include the return of Midwest Grillin’ Experts, Mad Dog & Merrill whose aim is to make everyone better grillers and have fun while doing it. Mad Dog & Merrill will be on stage in the Garden Gallery Thursday through Saturday at 12p, 4p & 7p and Sunday at 1p and 3p. The show also welcomes nationally known gardening expert, Melinda Myers. With over 30 years of horticulture experience, 20+ authored books on gardening, and the nationally-syndicated “Melinda’s Garden Moment” program airing on over 115 TV and radio stations throughout the U.S., Myers will be speaking during show hours on Thursday and Friday at 2p & 7p, Saturday at 2p, 5p & 7p, and Sunday at 12p & 2p. Myers will appear alongside other Master Gardeners from throughout the region as they share their wide-ranging expertise in all-things-gardening, one of the most popular features of the FWHGS. Additional signature features include the Hourly $100 Show Buck Giveaways, chainsaw carving demos with expert Paul Moon, a $1,000 Cash Giveaway from WAJI, and more.
A fun-filled event for the whole family, the FWHGS also features the summertime-themed Family Fun Area. Always a hit among families with young children at the show, the Family Fun Area, sponsored by our friends at WLDE, allows participants to touch and feel unique animals, get their pictures taken with characters, watch martial arts and dance demonstrations, learn how to make a balloon creation, and more.

Show hours are Thursday & Friday 11a–9p, Saturday 10a–9p and Sunday 11a–5p.
